Dream Escape Update July 2020

As the tourism industry in the UK and Ireland gets ready to re-open, we wonder if it is time to start thinking about reconnecting with friends and loved ones, and to start planning for that next well-deserved break together. Dream Escape is ready and waiting to help you every step of the way.

There is no doubt that it has been a challenging time and while our thoughts are still with those whose lives have been impacted by this horrendous virus, our passion for travel still remains. During lockdown we have had time to reflect upon the amazing industry we work in, the joy that our tailormade travel experiences bring to our clients and of course the wonderful partners in the UK and Ireland, that we are proud to call friends.

While much of the world continues to stabilise and adapt, we will always be mindful that there is still an element of uncertainty and situations can change, so as we look ahead we want to do everything possible to help you and your clients plan future trips with complete confidence. We will therefore remain flexible in our approach to all enquiries and future bookings and with this in mind, we have revised our terms of business and commissions policy, to help protect our clients and industry partners from any further uncertainty. The health and safety of our clients will always be a priority but at the same time, will not take away from our creativity, inspirational travel programmes and exceptional service.

Guidelines for re-opening in the UK and Ireland have been issued and from this week, many venues, museums, attractions, restaurants and hotels will open their doors. Entrance number restrictions will understandably be enforced, so booking well in advance will be essential. Dream Escape remains connected and best placed to assist you in all aspects of your travel itineraries, VIP entrances and behind the scene experiences, as well as being on top of any restrictions and sudden changes in situations on the ground.

To give you further peace of mind, all the properties we work with have introduced revised social distancing measures with a lot of care and creativity, to ensure your stay is seamless and as enjoyable as before. You may notice more space in lounge areas, dedicated breakfast times, and a new range of things to do, both inside and outside the properties, so be rest assured that your holiday experiences will not be compromised.

With our team spread across England, Scotland and Ireland, we have all taken this time to enjoy the beautiful country we live in and all that is has to offer. We have had time to look at our country with different eyes; with our health and being safe, front of mind, whilst still enjoying the stunning landscapes and wonderful experiences  for which  the UK and Ireland are famed. On the back of this, our core team will be sharing a collection of picture postcards to showcase some inspirational ideas for key celebrations, anniversaries and extended family trips in locations and places that are suited to the current circumstances. So, keep a look out on our blog, social media channels and website.
