London for Families

Nine Days

Dream Escape’s tailor-made London programme introduces families to one of the most exciting cities in the world and includes experiences and attractions sure to delight travellers of all ages. From whizzing around the cobbled streets of Covent Garden in Mini Coopers, to becoming a secret agent for the day as you follow in the footsteps of Britain’s most famous spy.

The added touches of local, knowledgeable guides, chauffeur-driven transportation and five-star accommodation will ensure a family trip never to be forgotten.

Your bespoke programme could include any of the following experiences:

  • Spend a morning learning King Henry VIII’s favourite sport, ‘real tennis’, in one of his favourite palaces, Hampton Court.

  • Step inside a privately reserved capsule on one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, the London Eye, and travel 135 metres above the skyline.

  • Hold on tight as you speed up and down the River Thames on a RIB, taking in the sights on a thrilling 50-minute boat ride.

  • Explore the 13-acre complex of Windsor Castle, one of the oldest royal palaces and a personal favourite of HM The Queen, who often spends her weekends at Windsor.

  • After getting up close and personal with the supercars of the James Bond films at the London Film Museum, meet a specialist guide who will lead you on a tour that lets you step inside the world of 007.
  • Visit the home of English tennis, at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, admire the dazzling silverware before stepping out onto Centre Court yourself.

  • Embark on a unique sightseeing trip from the comfort of a Classic Mini Cooper as you head off the beaten track to see the city as a Londoner would.

  • Watch the spectacular Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of Buckingham Palace, and marvel at this display of British pageantry and tradition.

  • Discover the Tower of London, famous for being the site of beheadings, murders and mysteries, and which has acted as both a royal palace and a prison for the kingdom’s most important criminals.

  • Enjoy a private director’s tour of the Household Cavalry Museum and learn about the regiments who guard some of the most protected sites in England.

The accommodation we recommend for your trip is a five-star luxury hotel located close to Buckingham Palace and which prides itself on providing impeccable service for even the youngest guests. Combing historical splendour with warm hospitality, it is the perfect base for your family trip.
