Day One: An introduction to London

On arrival in London, you will be met and greeted by your chauffeur who will provide a safe and comfortable transfer into Central London. Your chauffeur will provide a panoramic orientation tour – a great introduction to the city! See Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament and the iconic clock tower which houses Big Ben. Finally, check-in to your accommodation, a grand 5* hotel overlooking the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.

Day Two: A Mini Adventure

Spend the morning at leisure, resting and relaxing following your international flight. This afternoon discover the city with a fast and fun two-hour orientation tour of the City of London in two restored Classic Mini Coopers.  It will allow you to see the capital through the eyes of a Londoner. See world famous landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard, but also hidden gems that so often get missed – street art in the Leake Street Tunnel, the quirky back streets of Covent Garden and local markets – London’s best bits!

Your driver will be happy to stop on a regular basis, allowing you to get out and take photos when you wish. Don’t worry about being in separate cars. Each mini will have its own walkie-talkie so you can chat to each other as your whiz through the streets.

Day Three: London Highlights

The buzz and excitement of London can be enough to overwhelm even the most seasoned traveller.  Much like many other capital cities, busy traffic, lengthy queues and bag searches at popular sites can slow down the day, and with so many places to explore, time is truly of the essence. To ensure the most action-packed day possible, it will be pre-planned and pre-purchased.

Spend today in the company of your chauffeur and local guide, ensuring you get the best out of the sightseeing in this famed city. The day commences at the Tower of London. This UNESCO World Heritage Site dates to the early 1080s and has borne witness to many defining events in British history. The tower is guarded by the Beefeaters; the instantly recognisable guards look after the British Crown Jewels which you can find in the Jewel House.

Your next highlight is the London Eye. It stands a whopping 135 metres high and offers a spectacular way to take in many of the city’s most famous landmarks in just 30 minutes.  Enjoy your flight in a private capsule reserved specially for your family.

After your flight, enjoy some light-hearted fun as you step aboard a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat).     Blast your way from the iconic London Eye Pier for 50 minutes. Take in the incredible sights, from Big Ben to Tower Bridge. Once under the Tower Bridge, it’s time to tighten your grip! Hear the 630 horsepower engines rev up and whoop as you whoosh up to speeds of 30 knots (35mph!).

Day Four: Windsor and Great Park

Accompanied by your chauffeur and guide, you will travel west out of London to visit Windsor Castle; established by William the Conqueror in the 11th century and is the oldest and largest still-occupied castle in the world. Today, the private apartments are still HM, The Queen’s preferred weekend retreat from the capital and her presence is signified by the Royal Standard flying from the Round Tower.

The Castle is a glorious 13-acre complex of medieval, Restoration and Georgian buildings. Highlights to discover during your visit include the spectacular art collection gracing the walls in the State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel, one of the most beautiful ecclesiastical buildings in England. HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married here in 2018.

To follow, explore Windsor Great Park. Overlooking the magnificence of Windsor Castle itself, it’s easy to feel the royal history sparking to life around you. This is a landscape that speaks of great kings, hunting parties and an English heritage of jousting, banquets and tournaments!

Day Five: Royal Westminster

Spend another day exploring London with your guide. Start at Horse Guards that stands behind Whitehall. It is home to the Household Cavalry Museum. Enjoy a private director’s tour, on which you will learn about the regiments who guard Her Majesty’s Royal Residences and have done so since 1661. See a dazzling array of uniforms, arms and pictures, all vividly displayed in interactive presentations. Look through the glass partition and view the working stables of the Queen’s Life Guard, one of the two senior regiments of the British Army that make up the Household Cavalry.

It is a short distance from here to Buckingham Palace to see “The Changing of the Guard”. It is a spectacular ceremony involving marching soldiers and imposing mounted guards. Nearby are the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace; considered the finest working stables in existence, a visit provides the unique opportunity to see the work of the Royal Household and to see historic royal carriages which have transported members of the British Royal Family for centuries.

Day Six: The Name's Bond, James Bond

This morning, meet your local guide and chauffeur and head to the London Film Museum. The Bond in Motion exhibition is the largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles in the entire world. A must-visit for Bond and motor vehicle fans alike, the exhibition is a unique opportunity to see some of the film industry’s best-known props up close. Highlights include the Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre and the Rolls-Royce Phantom III from Goldfinger.

Following your visit meet a specialist guide with whom you will step into the world of 007 and other secret agents by exploring locations used in the 007 movies and sites linked to Ian Fleming, the author behind the Bond novels. Visit James Bond film locations, including a photo stop outside MI6 Headquarters. Other highlights could include a visit to the College of Arms from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, as well as locations from Skyfall and the latest film Spectre.

Day Seven: Ancient and Modern Olympics

The Olympics, held every four years, is the leading sporting event in the world. The modern games were inspired by the ancient Olympic Games which were held in Olympia, Greece, as part of a religious festival held in honour of Zeus – King of the Gods. Delve into the heritage of this ancient sporting event with a visit to the British Museum and the company of a private guide. Once they had proved themselves at Olympia, specialists in the sports could win large sums of money all over the Greek world.

To follow, your guide will take you to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a behind-the-scenes VIP tour at the London Stadium. This stadium was the centrepieces of the London 2012 Olympics and is today home to West Ham United soccer club, and to UK Athletics. Your tour allows you a look inside the stadium including areas not seen on the public tour.  Follow in the footsteps of footballers with a visit to the home changing room and walking down the players’ tunnel.

Day Eight: Anyone for Tennis?

Today is devoted to the history of one of the best-loved sports in England. Drive along the Thames to Hampton Court Palace. The Royal Tennis Court here is one of less than fifty real tennis courts in the world, and one of the few courts where the public can watch this intriguing sport. Enjoy an hour learning about the game that the young Henry VIII was passionate about. The tour includes a talk on the history of the game, the court, an introduction to the rules and an exhibition from professional players. There is also an opportunity for guests to have a go themselves!

This afternoon, visit the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Accompanied by a privately reserved guide, you will go behind the scenes at the world’s most famous tennis club and home of The Championships. In the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, learn of the traditions of ‘The Fortnight’, get a closer look at the much-coveted trophies, and see how tennis fashions have evolved through the years. Explore the media centre, see where the players are interviewed by the press and enjoy uninterrupted views from the members’ balcony, before finishing with a visit to Centre Court.

Day Nine: Homeward Bound

Your chauffeur will transfer you to London Heathrow Airport where you will board your flight for onward travel.
