This 7 Day luxury London family Dream Escape could include the following experiences;

  • Premium Assistance at London Heathrow from airside through to meeting your chauffeur. Porters are on hand to assist with your luggage.

 

  • A fast and fun Harry Potter tour through the streets of London in restored Classic Mini Coopers. Spot the film locations featured in all the films from the Philosopher’s Stone to the Deathly Hallows.   Jump the line at London King’s Cross Station to have your photograph taken at Platform 9 ¾.

 

  • Sail along the Thames on a privately chartered historic wooden sailing barge and by special arrangement Tower Bridge – an iconic part of London’s skyline – will be raised for you. A sumptuous picnic will be served on board.

 

  • Beat the crowds and enter the British Museum before it opens to the public. On arrival, meet an officer who will give you a special quest – a notorious thief is on the run and has left a trail to his stolen goods – The Rosetta Stone!  Track down the thief by solving codes, deciphering clues, using electronic trackers and breaking open lockboxes.

 

  • Go ‘Behind the Glass’ at the Churchill War Rooms and walk in the steps of this great man.

 

  • Enjoy an evening performance of Phantom of the Opera followed by a  backstage tour to meet and greet cast members.
  • Soccer or Tennis fans? Head to Wembley Stadium for a VIP Tour which includes a lap of the pitch as well as seeing the FA Trophy display, the Dressing Rooms, Press Conference Room, Players’ Tunnel and then up to the Royal Box.  Or, go behind the scenes at the world’s most famous tennis club – Wimbledon.

 

  • Attend a Ceremony that has been performed every night without fail for more than 700 years. Prior to the Ceremony of the Keys, a Yeoman Warder takes you on an exclusive tour of the Tower of London.

 

  • Escape to the country and learn the skill of sheep dog herding with one of the world’s best shepherds. Enjoy lunch in a traditional pub before trying your hand at flying a variety of Hawks and Owls.  The day ends with an old English tradition of tea and scones in a privately owned 16th century manor house.

 

  • Explore the highlights of the South Bank – Breakfast at the Borough Market, London’s oldest food market before a Privately Guided Tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. For any budding artists, enjoy a private art class at the Tate Modern.  Your day ends with a Private Capsule on the London Eye.

 

The accommodation that we suggest during your London stay is two x 45sqm interconnecting rooms with a king for the parents and two double beds provided for the children.

MINI COOPER LONDON EXPERIENCE

Begin the day with a fast and fun two-hour orientation tour of the City of London in two restored Classic Mini Coopers.

TOWER BRIDGE OPENING & CRUISE

By special arrangement, Tower Bridge – an iconic part of London’s skyline – will be raised for you as you sail along the Thames on a privately chartered historic wooden sailing barge. A sumptuous picnic will be served on board.

WIMBLEDON

Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum at the All England Club at Wimbledon – Experience the history and traditions of ‘the Fortnight’ in the state-of-the-art Museum. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, visitors can experience the atmosphere in the 1980’s Gentleman’s Dressing Room and watch John McEnroe guide you through off-limits areas and reminisce about his Wimbledon experiences.

LONDON EYE

The London Eye is an extraordinary symbol for an extraordinary city. The world’s largest observation wheel offers a spectacular way to take in over 55 of London’s most famous landmarks in just 30 minutes

BOROUGH MARKET

The Borough Market is rich with history, but it remains as relevant now as it has ever been. As London’s oldest food market, it has been serving the people of Southwark for 1,000 years, and that extraordinary heritage is an important part of its appeal.
