Dream Escape are welcoming the new year with a celebration of film. From Mary Poppin’s London to the stunning Scottish locations featured in the new Mary Queen of Scots movie released this weekend, we have it all covered with 2 amazing featured itineraries.

Scotland continues to be an inspiring destination for filming. The new Mary Queen of Scots showcases Scotland’s finest locations whilst highlighting the fascinating and dramatic history, events, people and places which have shaped this wonderful country.
Take an alternative tour of Edinburgh in a 007 James Bond themed challenge around the city centre featuring character actors and 4×4 vehicles. Enjoy a traditional treat of fish and Chips in the Worlds End, an Outlander location and Dougal Mackenzie’s favourite haunt. See the real Pictish crosses and Viking tombstones in Abercorn church and explore Hopetoun House and Castle Leoch with our in-house expert Head of Guiding who had unique studio and set access during filming.

South of the border indulge in a Mary Poppins afternoon tea, 007 James Bond scavenger hunt on the River Thames or take a ‘muggles’ walking tour and delve into the magical world of Harry Potter.
With many TV and filming credits including the British classic, Poldark, Cornwall boasts many beautiful locations and a heritage coastline characterised by fishing villages, inlets and cliff top panoramas. Pay a special visit to Chavenage House where the series was filmed for an off the beaten track experience. The Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition is making it’s UK debut this year in Belfast, from 1 April – Sept 1st 2019 at the Titanic Exhibition.
