Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, experience an authentic Irish castle which is still a family home.

Glin Castle, is a unique historic property, which has been home for 800 years of the FitzGerald family, hereditary Knights of Glin, and stands proudly in the middle of its 400 acre wooded demesne on the banks of the Shannon. The toy-fortress like quality is echoed by three sets of battlemented Gothic folly lodges.

Glin Castle is available to hire exclusively for private rental accommodation, events, weddings, golf tours, group tours of castle and gardens with lunch and film location.

It is also the perfect venue for any number of corporate activities; from executive lunches and dinners, product launches, team building activity days and day conferences. We can tailor a package to suit your needs.

ACCOMMODATION

The Castle, with its superb interiors and decorative plasterwork has a grand hall and dining room plus 3 further reception rooms all with open fires. There are 15 luxurious en-suite bedrooms.

DINING

We offer the best in Irish Country house cooking using fresh vegetables and fruit from the working walled garden and locally sourced fish and meat. The Dining room can comfortably seat up to 30 and we can cater for up to 55 for a special party.
